Secluded and private at Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, award-winning Pethers Rainforest Retreat is exclusively adults only.

Set amidst five hectares of sub-tropical rainforest, it's the perfect place for a romantic getaway, anniversary, birthday celebration or a simple weekend of pampering and tranquility.

There are only ten luxurious, individual tree houses designed with your privacy in mind. Each tree house features gorgeous timber flooring, a fireplace, lounge/dining area and a couple's spa overlooking the pristine forest. The 5-metre high glass windows lead to a large outdoor balcony giving you the unique sensation of being part of nature. Cuddle by the large log fire in winter or sit out on the deck under the rainforest canopy in summer. Have a relaxing massage on either your balcony or inside by the crackling fire.

Massage - enhance your stay with a Pethers massage in the privacy of your tree house by the fire or on your balcony amid the cool green canopy. Qualified therapists offer a range of treatments including hot stone, salt glow, aromatherapy, relaxation and pampering packages.
Welcome Packs - arrange a Welcome Pack prior to arrival or a special occasion cake. The Romance Upgrade includes candles, rose petals, a fully run bubble spa bath and a bottle of sparkling wine. Ask us for details of the packs available.
Picnics - find your own spot in the garden, by the pond or in the avocado orchard and feast on your own special chef-prepared Picnic Basket. 
Tree House Dining - dine in your own tree house with restaurant quality meals delivered to your room. The menu varies every few days and features fresh, local produce. 

If you are lucky, you might spot the variety of native wildlife that call Pethers home including rainforest birds, peacocks, Pademelon wallabies, green tree frogs, owls, kookaburras, echidnas and possums. On occasion, the rare, timid Albert's Lyrebird can be found near the stream. Pethers is committed to protecting local flora and fauna, engaging in campaigns to support the local biodiversity and is dedicated to working in accordance with sustainability principles assisting in reducing our footprint on the environment. 

Food & Beverage
Set around an elevated fireplace overlooking the floodlit rainforest, this award-winning restaurant offers locally sourced, seasonal organic produce. Fully licensed, open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. A five course Degustation menu is created each day with vegetarian options and specific dietary requirements are catered for (with notice). Bookings are essential.

Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the Lodge between 8:30am and 9:30am.  

Unwind in the lodge or the deck in the afternoon, sip on a cocktail or house beverage, sample the tasty snacks and enjoy the calming rainforest sounds.

Pethers Rainforest Retreat is exclusively for adults only (18 years and over), with only the melody of the rainforest to soundtrack your stay.
